Pincio

The hill is located north of the Quirinal, and overlooks the Marzio Field. The Pincio Walking, located between People Square, Villa Medici and the Torto wall, with a direct connection to Villa Borghese, was conceived by the Napoleonic administration, established in Rome in 1810, to meet many urban and social needs: one side of the same people square as the main entrance to Rome from the north, on the other the need to provide the "second city of the empire" with an urban space for the recreation and health of the people.
