Trastevere
The most romantic district of the city
Trastevere is undoubtedly one of the most characteristic neighborhoods of all Rome, where between narrow colored alleys, Roman trattorias, markets, shops and artisan shops, it is still possible to get lost to rediscover the essence of the most authentic and genuine Rome. The original nucleus of the city has developed along the opposite bank of the river and the Trastevere district was initially inhabited by the less well-off social classes of Rome. Today things have changed, Trastevere has become the most sought after district of the city, it contains monuments, churches and works of art of great value.
It is undoubtedly one of the liveliest and most characteristic neighborhoods of the city, but if you really want to know it, you have to experience it at night! When night falls, the neighborhood transforms and becomes the fulcrum of youthful nightlife. Here you can spend an evening of fun and good food among typical restaurants, pizzerias, shops, stalls and shops of all kinds. The places of greatest attraction are Trilussa square where you can enjoy an aperitif in the company and the adjacent buildings Santa Maria square in Trastevere frequented until the first light of dawn. Once back at home you will always keep in your heart the memory of Trastevere, which, as the Romans say, is still "er core de Roma! "
